On March 7, 2020, 12pm-3pm, Born Again Church and Fashioned In His Image hosted a seminar on Disrupt Aging for the 40+ community. A complimentary lunch was included.
Disrupt Aging is a place to have a new conversation — often funny, sometimes raw, always honest — about how we want to live and age. We learned how to taking control of our health, tips on financial resilience, combating ageist beliefs, how to put our experience to work and more. We shed the negative stereotypes and unconscious age bias. Everywhere people are reinventing what it means to age.
Nationally recognized “aging disruptors,” Dr. Mary Clark, Migdalia Cruz and Marilyn Diaz, were our guides to a fascinating and thought-provoking dialog.
Special thanks to the AARP team: Rebecca Kelly, State Director, Stacy Pennington, Community Outreach Director, Leanne Lewis, Senior Operations Associate,
