On Saturday, July 14, 2018, nearly 100 single women ages 40-65 gathered together to share in FIHI’s luncheon themed, “Wisdom, Worth, Worship”. Hosted by Lady Kiwanis Hockett, the ladies were invited to understand the need for sisterhood, unity, and well-being. Lady Kitty and Allyson Young facilitated an icebreaker on “Who, What, When, Where, and Why”. This exercise helped them think about who they are, what they are doing, where they are going, why they do what they do, and when they do what they do as it relates to five key areas of well-being: Career, Physical, Emotional, Financial, and Mental. Lillie Lester and Sandra Holt gave the ladies nuggets of wisdom in life application. Kimberly Hayes shared insight on knowing your self worth, and Peggy and Stephanie Harris shared powerful teachings on the meaning of true worship, the heart of worship, and sustaining a posture of worship in all that we do and all that we are.
Get ready for the “Wisdom, Worth, Worship” Retreat May 28- Jun 2. Details to follow.
